Educate a child for a year

Throughout India there are many brick factories. Most of the people who work in them migrate there from remote villages during monsoon season, in an attempt to earn a living. Many families are so poor, they need their children to work too, which means youngsters miss out on an education. One project your gift could help fund is a year's flexible schooling for a child who works in one of India's brick factories. At schools set up by ActionAid, children will learn the skills to build better lives for themselves and receive a nourishing meal each day to keep them healthy.
