From in the net to net gain...

A fishing net The nets mean we can now collect seafood. They are invaluble. Our future is now more hopeful.
Ndieme Sathie. Senegal, fisherwoman

A fishing net

The people who live in Djirnda, on the coast of Senegal, are dependent on fishing for their livelihood, but women there simply cannot afford the tackle needed to fish. One project your gift could help fund is offering fishing nets and the use of boats to the women, so they can go out to sea. They will return with oysters, prawns and other fish - enough to feed their families and sell too. With money they earn, they can buy their children books and medicines.
