400 Trees for Vietnam

A cleaner, greener future

In Vietnam's Quang Ninh region, many children like Nguyen Cuoc Cuong don't get to learn about the benefits of cleaner, greener living. It's common for rubbish to be left in houses or gardens which, as well as damaging the environment, provides a place for mosquitoes and flies to breed that in turn can spread diseases.

Planting trees is a great way to get kids engaged in learning about how to reduce the impact we humans have on the planet. As well as learning the importance of properly disposing of waste, thus reducing the number of flies and mosquitoes and the diseases they carry, the trees children plant improve the environment for all the community - both now and in the future.
