Bicycle for a schoolgirl
The road to opportunityIn the Upper West region of Ghana, it is estimated that 40% of girls do not attend school, seriously damaging their chances of a life free of poverty in the future. For many living in rural areas, one of the problems is how far away the school is. A bicycle can change that!
One project your gift could help fund is providing girls aged 10-15 with bicycles, which they use to travel to and from school. With an education, they can gain the skills they need to earn a living. Ultimately, they will have many more opportunities in life.
