Herlinda Ico Ma, Guatemala, holding plants grown in the community garden
“It is important that we have a community garden to help feed our children. The money we would have had to spend on buying this food we can use for other essentials.”
Your gift of £29 could help people start a community garden, helping them feed their families.

Community garden
Beet hungerIn Guatemala, poor families go hungry because they cannot grow enough food. One project your gift could help fund is establishing community gardens.
Local women are provided with seeds, tools, and training needed to grow beets, carrots and onions. Soon enough, they'll have nourishing vegetables to eat and plenty more to sell.
