Educate a child for a year
From brick dust to chalk dust...
Throughout India there are many brick factories. Most of the people who work in them migrate there from remote villages during monsoon season, in an attempt to earn a living.
Many families are so poor, they need their children to work too, which means youngsters miss out on an education.
One project your gift could help fund is a year's flexible schooling for a child who works in one of India's brick factories. At schools set up by ActionAid, children will learn the skills to build better lives for themselves and receive a nourishing meal each day to keep them healthy.
