Energy-saving stoves
From small sparks to full bellies...
Women in the Apac district of Northern Uganda walk miles every day to gather firewood to fuel their open stoves, so they can feed their families. One project your gift could help fund is providing women with the training and materials to make energy saving stoves that retain heat for longer. They require less firewood, so women can save time and energy. The stoves are also better for the enviroment too.
