Ndieme Sathie, Senegal, fisherwoman
"The nets mean we can now collect seafood. They are invaluable. Our future is now more hopeful."
Your gift could help provide fishing equipment that enables people to provide for themselves and reap the rewards of being able to sell the extra fish.

Fishing net
From in the net to net gain...The people who live in Djirnda, on the coast of Senegal, are dependent on fishing for their livelihood, but women there simply cannot afford the tackle needed to fish.
One project your gift could help fund is offering fishing nets and the use of boats to the women, so they can go out to sea. They will return with oysters, prawns and other fish - enough to feed their families and sell too. With money they earn, they can buy their children books and medicines.
