Why should I buy Gifts in Action?
Because Gifts in Action are very special presents. Each one you buy will help make the world a fairer place for its poorest people. Closer to home, your friend or relative will receive a unique gift card that illustrates the type of work your donation might help make possible throughout the world.
How do I buy Gifts in Action?
You can buy them quickly and securely on this website. Alternatively, you can call us free on 0800 085 8550.
Why do I need to create an account?
This year, we've made several improvements to Gifts in Action. You can now create an address book and send gifts to multiple addresses through the site. To do this, we also need you to set up an account to make shopping quicker and easier.
Will my details be secure?
Your personal details will be completely secure. Your account is password protected and nobody will have access to it but you.
What is my address book for?
Your address book allows you to store the addresses of recipients, should you wish to send their gifts direct. You can add as many addresses as you need and this information will also be completely secure.
Can you deliver my gift directly to the recipient?
Yes. We can also send your gift abroad or deliver multiple gifts to different addresses.
Can you deliver gifts to more than one address?
Yes. To send gifts to different addresses, you'll need to create an account, log in and enter your chosen recipients' addresses into your address book. Alternatively, you can call us free on 0800 085 8550.

What if I'm unhappy with my gifts?
We very much hope you won't be. But if you aren't happy with your gift cards or if they are damaged, please call 01460 23 8047 to arrange a refund or replacement.
How quickly will my gift arrive?
Your gift should be with you (or the recipient) within 8 working days of your order if it is being delivered in the UK. For overseas delivery, please allow 10 days. If for any reason you encounter a problem, you can call us on 01460 23 8047.
Who do I contact if my gift hasn't arrived?
If you are having a gift delivered in the UK and more than 8 working days have elapsed since your order, please call us on 01460 23 8047 and we will investigate. In the case of overseas delivery, please contact us on the same number if your gift does not arrive within 10 working days.
How is my money spent?
The money you give will go towards a whole range of programmes to help poor communities overcome poverty. By supporting Gifts in Action, you can trust us to spend the money where the need is greatest. In return your chosen recipient will receive a card illustrating how your donation might be used around the world.
As the examples show, we work with local people to help them access basic rights like a home, water and an education. With the skills and confidence they gain, they go on to further improve their lives – and offer their children a brighter future. With our help, poor communities are then better able to make governments and international companies change unfair practices that affect their lives.
